Written Application
Upon request, a written application form will be sent to you. Filling out this form does not mean you are committing to sending your son to the camp. It is simply the next step in the process to provide more detailed information about your situation.
In-home Interview
If the information provided is assessed to be a case the camp can likely serve, a camp family worker will schedule a visit to your home to provide further program information and gain a better understanding of your family’s needs. Following this will be a possible waiting period.
Pre-placement Tour
When the camp has an opening to serve you and your son, you will be offered a tour of the campsite where your son would reside and an opportunity to visit with the peer group that he would be placed in. At the end of the tour, you and your son will be in a position to decide if this is the path for you.
Intake
Upon choosing to enroll your son at Ozark Wilderness Boys Camp, a camp family worker will assist you with a checklist of necessities for enrollment and within 1-2 weeks after the pre-placement tour, your son’s journey at Camp will begin.
